The brand-new DRip café is now open for all DR staff during their prep and lunch breaks. Established on September 8, 2025, the café serves as a dedicated space for staff and faculty. The café aims to enhance workplace comfort for DR staff, offering better meal options than the standard school lunch and removing the need to rush outside for food. It is located in the lower left corner of the cafeteria. This addition has eased teachers’ stress by giving them a place to enjoy coffee, catch up on work, or connect with peers during free time. When we visited to take photos, it felt like stepping into a new, vibrant spot to unwind and enjoy quality food.
The café distinguishes itself not only as a communal space but also through the quality and variety of its menu offerings. A primary feature is its daily rotating menu, which is regularly updated and currently extends until October 31, 2025, with additional items expected in the future. This rotation includes freshly baked pastries and baked goods prepared each morning. In addition to the rotating selections, the café maintains a set menu available throughout breakfast and lunch hours. Breakfast offerings include an assortment of baked goods and breakfast sandwiches, as well as a comprehensive selection of beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty coffees including espresso, Americano, latte, and cappuccino. For lunch, the set menu features salads, panini-pressed pockets, sandwiches, and the daily rotating meal. Collectively, these options have contributed significantly to enhancing the dining experience for DR staff, fostering a more comfortable and appealing workplace environment.
