The Dighton-Rehoboth Girl’s Volleyball team is coming off of an 3-17 season record from the last year, and are trying to improve that within the 2025 season. So far they have won three games, two against Southeastern Voc Tech, and another against Greater New Bedford Voc Tech. The Lady Falcons won the Southeastern game 3-0 and came back from behind to win the Greater New Bedford game 3-2. Some of the standout players of the game include senior caption Sara Marsella, who is a setter and leads the team with 91 assists so far this season. Elaina DaSilva, a senior caption, leads the team with 46 aces. Standout varsity player Victoria Czech, a junior, has 53 kills. Senior Kylie Smith has led the team with 41 blocks, and junior Hailey Roy has 116 digs. When asked about the team effort this season the varsity coach said “It has been a true team effort to get us to be as competitive and successful as we have been this year”. The lady Falcons compete in the South Coast Conference.
Coach Pacheco, who coaches the varsity team commented on the season saying “We have had very few games that we have not been right in the thick of the fight with our opponents, pushing them to earn every point they have from us”. The falcons continue to try to stay competitive with the teams that they face in their conference and outside of the conference.

The number of girls playing this year has gone up significantly from last year. There are 3 teams that are playing for Dighton-Rehoboth. A freshman team, a junior varsity team, and a varsity team. There are 17 players on varsity roster, led by Coach Pacheco. There are 15 players on the junior varsity team, led by Coach Barber. The freshman team has 13 girls. The total roster is 34 girls. The freshman team is a new addition this year and includes some 7th and 8th graders from the middle schools. Last year, the girl’s volleyball team only had a varsity and junior varsity team so the number of players have increased significantly since the 2024 season.
On October 20th, 2025 the team hosted their annual Dig Pink Game against Apponequet. The attendance cost was free but it was encouraged to donate to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Research Foundation. All of the profits, including those from concessions and raffles, were donated to the foundation. The team was able to raise $1700. The varsity team lost the first set but came back to win the second and third set. They ended up losing the fourth and fifth set to Apponequet but the girls gave a good fight.
The Dighton-Rehoboth Girl’s Volleyball Team has 2 more games, all home games, left in their 2025 season. They continue to stay competitive within the South Coast Conference.
